Only those FCC officially designated channel pairs qualify for the per-pair pricing.
FIT coordination fees DO NOT include FCC Licensing or Regulatory Fees.
ALL Wideband systems
ABOVE 50 MHz, are now assessed additional fees below which reflect the increased

FIT FEES Page 3 |
Narrowband Converstions
1) ON CHANNEL Narrowband conversion of licenses:
MEMBERS
No charge to
any FIT MEMBER in good standing for the conversion of their wideband (20K0F3E) analog
system to narrowband (11K2F3E) that maintains the existing center channel. This provides for a basic, on-channel,
narrowbanding only, conversion of the members licensed and assessed callsigns.
NON MEMBERS
FIT will
charge NON-MEMBERS the rate of $25.00 per channel or channel pair, per location to convert
their license to narrowband mode (11K2F3E) that maintains the existing center channel. Additional sites and/or additional channels on
the same license are $10.00 each. Mobile units on the same frequency(ies) associated with
a converted base or repeater location are included at no additional charge. FIT will require the licensees to provide
their FRN and Password. If a password recovery
is required there is an additional Password Recovery FEE of $50.00
Public Safety Licensees
Fit charges the same service fees for all Non-member licensees, including Public Safety
entities.
2) ON CHANNEL Narrowband conversion for
digital modes
MEMBERS and NON MEMBERS
Conversion to
digital modes requires re-coordination processes to ascertain compliance with the LMCC and
FCC Frequency Coordination Standards. FIT
will charge MEMBERS 50% of the published MEMBERSHIP frequency coordination rate for the
conversion to narrowband Digital modes for systems maintaining the existing center
channel. NON MEMBERS will be charged 50% of the applicable NON MEMBER Frequency
Coordination fee for the conversion to narrowband Digital Modes for systems maintaining
the existing center channel. FIT will require
the licensees FRN and Password, if a password recovery is required there is an additional
Password Recovery FEE of $50.00 for NON-MEMBERS.
3) Narrowbanding conversion and adding or shifting to split or
adjacent channels.
MEMBERS and NON MEMBERS
These
conversions require complete coordination of the split channel and are treated thusly. MEMBERS are charged the published MEMBERSHIP
frequency
coordination rate and NON MEMBERS will be charged the Published NON MEMBER frequency
coordination rate.
|
|
| Fees for conversions will be quoted ONLY after the FIT Staff has
had a chance to review the license to be converted. |
